EasyJet is a British multinational low-cost airline group, proudly headquartered at London Luton Airport. Founded in March 1995 by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the airline has grown to become the second-largest low-cost carrier in Europe, flying over $59$ million passengers annually. Its recognizable orange livery is a common sight across the continent, reflecting its famous slogan: "To Fly, To Save."

Operating from $29$ European bases, the airline connects $134$ destinations across over $30$ countries in Europe, North Africa, and West Asia. Through its affiliate airlines—EasyJet UK, EasyJet Switzerland, and EasyJet Europe—it manages over $1,000$ routes. The group’s operational model is built on efficiency, allowing customers to often secure round-trip tickets between major cities like London, Paris, Berlin, and Barcelona for as low as €100.

As of October 2025, the EasyJet fleet comprises over 190 in-service Airbus aircraft, with a focus on modern, fuel-efficient planes. The core of its fleet includes the Airbus A319, Airbus A320 (including the next-generation A320neo), and the Airbus A321neo, with more units currently on order. Major hubs and key destinations include London (Gatwick and Luton), Berlin–Brandenburg, Geneva, Milan–Malpensa, Amsterdam, Paris (Charles de Gaulle and Orly), and Lisbon.

EasyJet offers several flexible fare options to cater to different travel needs, building up from its core low-cost base:

Light Fare: The most basic option, which includes the flight cost, taxes, and a small cabin bag (personal item) that must fit under the seat in front of you.

Inclusive Fare: This package adds a hold bag (up to 23 kg) and free standard seat selection to the Light fare inclusions.

Inclusive Plus: The premium option, which includes speedy boarding, a large cabin bag, a Free Up Front or discounted Extra Legroom seat, dedicated easyJet Plus Bag Drop, Fast Track Security (at participating airports), and an onboard meal deal.

For passengers who prefer to travel light but still want to check their cabin bag, the Hands-Free add-on allows customers to drop off their large carry-ons at the bag drop area and pick them up at baggage claim after their flight.

In a major corporate development, EasyJet confirmed on September 10, 2021, that it had rejected a takeover bid from its low-cost rival, Wizz Air.
